Product Description

Candelilla wax is a brown plant wax that is derived from a grass that grows in Texas and Mexico. It is second only to carnauba wax,in terms of hardness and has a melting temperature between 67 ° C and 71 ° C. Like carnauba wax, candelilla wax is used to increase the hardness of wax when mixed with other ingredients, but its hardening effect is obviously not as good as that of carnauba wax.

The hard, yellow-brown to brown waxy shrubs of wild Euphorbia antisyphilitica or E. cerifera bushes in northern Mexico and Texas.Similar to carnauba wax, but lower hardness. Because it can be mixed with other waxes and is inexpensive, it is mainly used as a blending agent in formulas containing carnauba wax, paraffin and other waxes, and also used in polishing agents, paints, inks, waterproofing agents and carbon paper.

Applicaition

1.Contains moderate resin components;

2. Due to the small shrinkage, when mixed with other waxes, it can make other waxes solidify without increasing the melting point;
